CLOSED: The Splashpad in Gheluvelt Park
THE popular Splashpad in Worcester's Gheluvelt Park will not be reopening this year, it has been confirmed.
Worcester City Council announced the news, saying significant repairs to the pumps ans replacement parts are needed.
This means it cannot open this summer.
A spokesman said: "We are sorry to announce it will not be possible to open the Splashpad this summer.
"Significant repairs to pumps are needed and replacement parts will take two months to arrive, so it will not reopen until next year.
"We apologise for the disappointment we know this will cause."
