POLICE have blocked off part of a main Worcester street after a man was hit by a bus.
Just after midday, the man was hit by the bus.
The man, in his 40s, is currently being treated by paramedics.
Police cars and an ambulance are in place in Foregate Street, with police tape at one end and a police officer redirecting at the other.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "We were called to a collision just after 12.40pm today on Foregate Street.
"The pedestrian, a man who is believed to be in his 40s, is currently being treated.
"The road is currently closed as the incident is ongoing."
