CANAL: Canal path closed and plank removed after police enquiry
A CANAL path was closed and a plank has been removed following an ongoing police enquiry.
West Mercia Police shared on Twitter last night (July 19): "It was necessary Saturday evening to close the Worcester-Birmingham canal at Stoke Prior.
"The area has been of interest in an ongoing enquiry and we needed to establish why there was an obstruction. Large plank removed by Canal River Trust.
"Apologies for any inconvenience."
