A BUSINESSMAN has been elected to become a member of Worcestershire Ambassadors because of his dedication and commitment to his community.
Matthew Jackson is the managing director at Jackson Family Funeral Directors, a family owned and run business with many branches across the county.
Mr Jackson said: “I am honoured to be elected as a Worcestershire Ambassador and help promote and support everything that the community has to offer.
“Helping to create new opportunities within the area and support investment is a key task I will relish.
“Plus, as an active member, I would also like to continue with supporting local charities that aid so many good causes in the region.”
The Worcestershire Ambassadors is an organisation focused on promoting the county as a great place to live, work, invest and do business. Matthew Jackson is passionate about Worcestershire and supporting the local community at all levels.
Mr Jackson added: “We are proud to be multi-award-winning funeral directors, and this could not have been possible without the support of local businesses.
“We actively look to work with businesses in Worcestershire as I believe that the strength of the county comes from within, working in synergy.
“I look forward to being an active member of the Worcestershire Ambassadors.”
Matthew pledges to the families he supports is to deliver honest and comprehensive funeral services which are always carried out with integrity and devotion, caring for the community at a very challenging time.
The firm has four branches in Pershore, Malvern, Worcester and Upton-upon-Severn. Worcestershire County Council formed the Worcestershire Ambassadors in 2000 and the organisation has grown in strength since then.
