NEW data shows more than 480 Worcestershire residents - with Covid-19 mentioned on the death certificate - had died in all settings up to May 29, according to latest Office of National Statistics (ONS) data.
The figures cover people who died from Covid-19 and the local authority area in which they lived, and provide information on deaths outside of county hospitals.
The latest data, covering the week May 22 to May 29, shows:
Eight people died in hospital; three from Bromsgrove, three from Redditch, one Worcester resident and one from Malvern Hills.
Five people died in a care home; two from Bromsgrove, one from Worcester, one Wychavon resident and one from Wyre Forest.
One person, from Wychavon, died in a communal establishment.

During that week there were no Covid-19 related deaths at home, in hospice, or elsewhere.
Some of the deaths are ones previously not reported on as the daily regional figure from the NHS is only people dying of Covid-19 at county hospitals. The total across all settings that week, 14, shows the significant drop in numbers. For example, five weeks earlier - between April 17 and April 24 - 98 county people died across all settings.
The latest ONS figures reveal 481 Worcestershire people, classed as having Covid-19, died up to May 29. They include:
123 Bromsgrove residents; 71 in hospital, 47 in a care home, four elsewhere and one in a communal establishment.
109 Wyre Forest residents; 61 in hospital, 39 in a care home, eight at home and one in a communal establishment.
A total of 96 Wychavon residents; 46 in a care home, 39 in hospital, four at home, four in a communal establishment, two in a hospice, and one elsewhere.
A total of 55 Worcester residents; 26 in hospital, 24 in a care home, three at home, one in a hospice and one in a communal establishment.
A total of 54 Redditch residents; 44 in hospital, eight in a care home, one at home, and one in a communal establishment.
A total of 44 Malvern Hills residents; 22 in hospital, 19 in a care home, two at home and one in a communal establishment.
