A LANDLORD is calling for Worcester musicians to create a theme tune for the pub’s mascot.
The Alma Bear - The Alma Tavern’s mascot, has been keeping spirits high on his daily walks during the coronavirus pandemic.
Pub landlord, Will Bradley, who thought of the idea, said: “It’s been overwhelmingly positive and great to see the kid’s reactions and adults too.
“Just spreading joy and making people’s day has only added to all the positivity of our community and city as a whole.”

“We would love the musicians of Worcester to create a theme tune for Alma Bear. If they create a theme tune even better, or to get the whole of Worcester involved in some way a big community project.
“After so many weeks of lockdown and the fan mail and pictures Alma Bear gets, we thought it would be right if he had his very own theme tune, to match his very own look.
"Every good mascot and bear has an equally great theme tune."
"There is already Yogi Bear, Paddington Bear, Rupert Bear and Winnie-the-Pooh of course.”
