A CURRY house in Worcester is raising money for the NHS by setting up a super hot curry challenge.
Balti Mahal is inviting curry lovers in the city to order a special curry made for the challenge, which will see contestants attempt to eat it for a chance of being crowned “Hottest Curry Eater Champion”.
To take part, contestants have to call the restaurant on 01905 611 911 and staff will send out the Hot Curry Eating Challenge kit containing the curry, rice and a naan.
The kit is provided for free with people taking part encouraged to donate via the restaurant's JustGiving page, which can be found at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/baltimahalcovid19.
Chef and director of Balti Mahal, Mazedul Hasan Shakil, said: "Our amazing NHS staffs are putting their lives at risk to save ours. Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as NHS staffs, volunteers and carer workers tirelessly fighting Coronavirus pandemic."
