A FUNDING page has been set up to help the owners of a pub after it has suffered severe damaged following the floods in Worcestershire.
The Go Fund Me fundraiser was created to support the Camp House Inn, in Grimley.
Teresa Young set up the page on February 27, which has already raised £615.
She said: "We’re looking to raise financial support for an iconic pub, home and business. Little things matter to this massive part of so many lives so a small (or not so small) donation will account for a lot.
“The Camp House Inn is a hugely loved and important part of our lives. Many milestones have been celebrated by frequent flyers, recent and yesteryear, by family and landlord at this wonderful drinking hole."
Ms Young added: “This is a business and a home to The Wainwrights and has suffered extensively following the recent floods.
“Water levels have been relentless, allowing 24 hours to clear and cleanse ready to open only to have efforts thwarted by more flood water.
“Now there is Jorge on his pesky way, water defence systems don’t reach as far upriver as Grimley. With insurance and any flood damage grant unlikely to touch the sides of how much financial impact this will have on the family personally.”
