CHILDREN with cancer enjoyed an outing to the Swan Theatre.
The Paediatric Oncology Clinic team at Worcestershire Royal Hospital took them to see Snow White.
Dawn Forbes, Children and Young People Oncology Nurse Specialist said: “I feel very fortunate that I can access the Children of Worcestershire Cancer Fund to be able to treat the children who are (or have been) treated for cancer at our hospital.
"The parents often say to me that being able to meet up outside of the hospital for fun events has a huge impact on the children because it means they are doing ‘normal’ things rather than just coming to clinic for their treatment. The children and their families had a great time!”

The Swan Theatre gave the team discounted tickets, and the rest of the cost was covered by the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity.
A parent who attended said: “We had a lovely time, it's so great to get lost in silliness - and the pantomimes at the Swan are always excellent. It was really nice to go out as a group and share a fun experience together.”
