DRIVERS have been warned to take care as road surface temperatures are set to drop below freezing tonight.
Worcestershire County Council said its gritters will head out this evening.
Worcestershire County Council Highways and Travel tweeted: “Gritters are heading out this evening, once all showers have died away. Watch out for frost and icy patches."
The Met office predicts it will be a dry night for most as any remaining showers fade away through the evening. Clear spells will develop into the early hours, allowing for temperatures to drop and a widespread frost to form. Minimum temp -1°C.
