THE Worcester Scout District Carol service was held at Worcester Cathedral.
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders and their friends and family packed out the Cathedral for the traditional nativity service.
This year, the service was organised and presented by the 2nd Worcester Scout Group from St. Johns.
The traditional service involved more than 50 young people aged six to 18 supported by their volunteer leaders.
The service was also attended by the deputy mayor Councillor Jo Hodges.
Organisers had asked for those who attended to bring donations to be given to the Worcester Foodbank.
Donations were collected at the North Porch by Scouts and Leaders from 2nd Worcester Scout Group supported by Worcester Foodbank volunteers.
At the end of the carol service, Canon Anne Penn announced that 22kg had been donated which equates to approximately 300 meals.
