A DRUG dealer who supplied heroin and crack cocaine in Malvern has been told he faces a jail sentence.
Reece Sweeney-Fenton of no fixed address admitted possession of both class A drugs with intent to supply at Worcester Crown Court yesterday.
The 23-year-old appeared with a co-defendant, Tabitha Whittaker, 33, of Elgar Avenue, Malvern, who also stands accused of related drugs offences but has yet to be arraigned which is where the charges are formally put.
Sweeney-Fenton committed both drug dealing offences on August 14 this year.
Simon Burns, for Sweeney-Fenton, said: "He's a young man with prospects and this is completely out of character."
Judge Nicholas Cole agreed that a pre-sentence report could be prepared by the probation service but made it clear that all options were on the table, including immediate custody in relation to Sweeney-Fenton.
Mr Burns said he knew his client was 'at risk' of prison. The judge said immediate custody was the 'very likely result', remanding him in custody until the next hearing.
Sweeney-Fenton must wait to hear what will happen to his co-defendant, Whittaker, before being sentenced. Whittaker is scheduled to appear at a further hearing on November 29.
