A WOMAN has been rescued from the river in Worcester after falling into the water.
She fell into the Severn from an area near Waterworks Road and was rescued at around 12.30pm, emergency services said.
Rescue boats gathered by the water at Worcester Rowing Club in order to help.
HWFireControl tweeted: "Boats and water teams from HWFireWorcs, HWFirePershore, HWFireEvesham and a drone from HWFireLedbury mobilised to an adult female in the river near Waterworks Road in Worcester.
"She was rescued by a joint effort from fire, police and ambulance and conveyed to hospital. #BlueLightTeam."
