A FOOTBALL shirt signed by Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is up for grabs at an auction where all the funds will go towards Oscar Saxelby-Lee’s treatment.
A Perdiswell Colts Football Club youth shirt has been signed by Scholes. Whoever offers the highest bid by noon today (October 8) will get the shirt.
Antony Darling, who met the former Manchester United and England midfielder at Worcester Arena, said: “For the last few weeks PCFC have been fundraising for Hand In Hand for Oscar in order for this brave little fella to get the treatment he needs abroad to help him beat leukaemia.
“I knew I was going to be seeing the legend that is Paul Scholes so I messaged him on Instagram and asked if he would be happy to help out by signing a PCFC shirt to auction off and get a little bit more money for Oscar. He was happy to help out.”
