HERE are all the changes proposed by First Bus from October 13.
The following bus journeys will be withdrawn:
Route 30: Worcester – Dines Green
• Monday-Friday, 6am departure from Worcester (returning from Dines Green at 6.12am)
• Monday-Saturday, 8.15pm departure from Worcester (returning from Dines Green at 8.27pm)
• Friday and Saturday 10.45pm departure from Worcester (returning from Dines Green at 10.57pm)
Routes 31/31A: Worcester – Henwick Park – University St John’s Campus
• Monday-Friday, 7am departure from Worcester (returning from Henwick Park at 7.11 am and university at 7.16am)
• Monday-Friday, 6.40pm departure from Worcester (returning from Henwick Park at 6.52pm and university at 6.57pm)
• All Sunday journeys are withdrawn.
Route 32: Worcester – St Peter’s – Kempsey - Baynall
• Buses will operate up to every 20 minutes during the day, Monday-Saturday
• Most journeys will now terminate at St. Peter’s (Broomhall Green)
• Peak time journeys will continue to extend to Kempsey and Baynall (and services 332/333 will also continue to serve Kempsey and Baynall)
Route 33: Worcester – Tolladine - Warndon – Blackpole
• For journeys between Worcester and Tolladine/Virgin Tavern, catch route 34 up to every 20 minutes
• For journeys between Worcester and Warndon/Blackpole catch route 35 (Nimrod) up to every 10 minutes
• No longer be serving Windermere Drive
Route 34: Worcester – Tolladine – Warndon Villages
• Buses will operate every 20 minutes during the day, Monday-Saturday, on this route.
Nimrod Route 35: Worcester – Rainbow Hill – Warndon
• There is a new timetable in the morning peak time, Monday-Friday
• The Friday and Saturday departures at 8.40pm, 11.10pm from Worcester (returning from Warndon Glovers Needle at 8.59pm and 11.59pm) are withdrawn
Route 37: Worcester – Bevere
• The Saturday service on this route is withdrawn
• From Monday-Friday the service will run on a trial basis due to 'insufficient customer numbers'. First will review the service later in the year and encourage local residents to ‘use it or lose it’.
Route 38: Worcester – Ronkswood – Hospital
• There is a new Monday-Friday, afternoon peak timetable
• On Saturdays, buses will operate up to every 20 minutes, during the day
• The Sunday service is withdrawn
Route 44: Worcester – Barnard’s Green – Great Malvern
• Buses will now operate up to every 20 minutes, Monday-Saturday daytime.
• Journeys between Worcester and Red Hill are now provided on route 45. For customers from the Great Malvern area wishing to travel to/from County Hall and Sixth Form College you’ll need to change at Crowngate Bus Station.
New Route 45: Worcester – Red Hill – Sixth Form College
• This is a new service replacing part of route 44. It will operate up to every half an hour between Worcester and Sixth Form college, Monday-Saturday daytime. Peak time journeys Monday-Friday will extend to County Hall
Routes 51/52/53/54: Worcester – Pershore/Evesham. The following will be withdrawn:
• Monday-Friday route 52, 4.50pm Worcester – Pershore
• Monday-Friday route 54, 7.03am Pershore – Worcester
• Monday-Friday route 54, 4.20pm Worcester – Pershore
• Wednesdays & Fridays route 54, noon Worcester – Littleworth and 12.27pm Littleworth – Worcester
• Route 53 journeys on Saturdays
