AN ARREST has been made after a man was seen running away from the scene of a three-car crash and allegedly found to be carrying a weapon.
A 27-year old man was arrested in Lowesmoor, Worcester, on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and failing to stop at the scene of a crash.
He was seen running from the scene in the direction of the city centre.
The man, who is from Liverpool, is currently in custody.
Emergency services were called to the crash at around 4am this morning (September 5).
It’s been reported the car collided with a parked car in Tolladine Road, Worcester.
Two fire engines were called to the crash and also ambulance was at the scene.
No one was trapped and all occupants had released themselves from the vehicles.
