TRIBUTES have been paid to a much-loved headmaster who died suddenly at the age of just 48.
Matthew Armstrong worked at The King’s School, Worcester, and inspired many pupils and staff.

Candice Gordon said: “Matthew will be sorely missed by parents, pupils and faculty alike.
“A leader with vision who had time for each student.
“My children were blessed to be governed under his guidance.”
Adam Gale said: “ A one hundred per cent genuine guy who would always stop and say hello, ask how you were and actually be interested in what you had to say.
“He will be missed.”
Andrew Parrish said: “A really lovely guy who I have no doubt will be very sadly missed by many.”
Essie Sarah said: “I didn’t know him personally but he has always spoken at events that we have been to at the school.
“Always friendly and polite - so very sad.”
