A MAN who was arrested on suspicion of murder after human remains were found in a septic tank has been released under investigation.
Police continue to investigate the murder of Brenda Venables after they announced yesterday (July 30) that they had arrested an 86-year-old man in Kempsey, who is understood to be her husband, David Venables.
The investigation is currently on-going, and officers are exploring various lines of enquiry.
West Mercia Police launched a murder investigation after workmen found the remains on July 12 while cleaning out a septic tank in the village.
