FREE introductory sessions are available to people interested in taking up yoga.

Soul Sanctuary, located above Wayland's Yard in Foregate Street, are partnering up with the Whitehouse Hotel and will be hosting a Yoga Open Morning on Sunday, July 28.

Those in attendance will get a free taste of the variety of yoga sessions that Soul Sanctuary offers including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Nidra and Yin.

The open morning will take place from 9.30am until midday at the Whitehouse Hotel, which is located on Foregate Street in Worcester.

The Yoga Open Morning has been organised to celebrate Soul Sanctuary’s collaboration with the Whitehouse Hotel, which allows Worcester’s leading yoga studio the ability to offer their members access to the hotel’s facilities, including changing rooms, showers, swimming pool and sauna.

Laura Butcher, founder of Soul Sanctuary, said: ‘We are so pleased to be collaborating with the Whitehouse Hotel.

"Our mission is to offer our community a full array of holistic services as we aim to be a true sanctuary for your soul.

"Yoga will always be at the core of that offering but this collaboration allows us to offer gym and spa facilities too, which moves us in the right direction for our long-term vision.

"My personal goal is to make yoga as accessible as possible to as many people as possible, so teaching classes outside the studio and introducing more people to the practice always gets me excited.

"If we can get just one more person feeling the mental and physical benefits of yoga each day, I’m happy.

Laura found yoga during a turbulent time in her life following her father’s untimely passing in 2014.

She said that since experiencing the positive impact of yoga on her life, she has sought to help others lead a better life through yoga.
