WORCESTER Sixth Form College was the worthy winner of this year’s College/Post-18 Training Provider Award, seeing off competition from LMPQ and The Development Manager.
The award celebrates an education establishment or training organisation which has shown exceptional commitment to education, training and learning for their students.
Accepting the award, Ruth Scotson from Worcester Sixth Form College said: “It is absolutely fantastic to win.
“We are accepting on behalf of all the parents, pupils and staff who make it what it is.
“It is a great place to work and study.”
Introducing the award, guest speaker Rob Stokes said: “Students say Worcester Sixth Form College has a lovely atmosphere and is a great stepping stone from school to university.
“The college had a high acceptance rate for universities last year and had a focus on supporting its students’ academic and welfare progress.”
