A SECONDARY school made it all the way to the final in the Worcestershire Education Awards.
St Augustine’s Catholic High School in Holloway Lane, Redditch, was one of the most impressive schools in this year’s awards.
From its approach to mental health among pupils to the fact it is the best performing Catholic school outside of London, it is a worthy finalist.
Gerald O’Connor, headteacher said: “Our academic results are life changing and consistently robust year on year.
“In 2018, 75 per cent of disadvantaged students at St Augustine’s obtained English and Maths which is significantly above the national average for all students.”
