Bishop Perowne Church of England College was a runner up for Secondary School of the Year.
Bishop Perowne, in Merrimans Hill Road, is a great example of how a school can turn itself around.
The school has gone from being in special measures to being a finalist in the Worcestershire Education awards. The transformation is testament to the dedication and commitment of staff, pupils and parents.
Mark Pollard, headteacher said: “Our school has gone through a wide range of positive changes over the past few years, and our recent good Ofsted report and record-breaking GCSE results are testament to how everyone has worked together.”
