WORCESTER Bosch has unveiled its new range of boilers.
The firm's new Greenstar Lifestyle range was formally revealed at the Bosch UK Innovation Hub.
Interior Designer Sophie Robinson unveiled the range, which comprises two models, the 'Life' and 'Style' models.
Both models are the result of eight-years of development and are available in combi, system and regular boiler types.
Sophie Robinson, of BBC 2's Great Interior Design Challenge said: "In my 20 years of interior design experience, the boiler often crops up as a design crime, but not any more.
"Often situated in an awkward place, the boiler can take up precious room housed in unsightly bulky cupboards, previously essential to disguise them."
The 'Style' features a brand-new full colour text display screen with touch buttons for easy control, while the 'Life' range features a push-button LCD display.
Full of tech, including wireless connectivity with the Bosch EasyControl which gives the homeowner control over heating and hot water via a smartphone.
The EasyControl allows users to monitor and control their household energy usage if they’re away from home.
Victoria Billings, marketing director at Worcester Bosch said: "Design has finally come to the heating industry.
"At Worcester Bosch, we take pride in our work and to hear that Sophie Robinson thinks the Greenstar Lifestyle range is part of the future of interior design is fantastic.
"However, looks are just one element of what we call our ‘beautiful beast’, as it has power and controls to match.
"We are delighted that the aesthetics match the craft under the cover – it truly is industry defining."
Worcester Bosch was established in 1962 and has been part of the Bosch Group since 1996, manufacturing gas and oil boilers for domestic use from two manufacturing plants – Worcester and Clay Cross.
Employing more than 1,800 people in the UK, Worcester Bosch is a market leader in boiler technology.
