Worcester City Council has voted in a new Mayor and it is a return for former Mayor Allah Ditta.
Cllr Ditta was the first Muslim Mayor of Worcester, and served between 2004 and 2005.
He replaces Cllr Jabba Riaz as Mayor and the Conservative on the Council voted for, Labour against and the Green Party abstained.
Cllr Stuart Denlegh-Maxwell said "It is a great honour to propose my dear friend and he will serve the city with great distinction."
Cllr Jo Hodges was also unanimously voted in as Deputy Mayor.
