POLICE are still hunting a man who reportedly stole a phone from a shop in Worcester while it was being shown to him by a member of staff.
On Monday, Worcester News reported on how the man came into the Worcester Tech Smart shop in St Johns, asking to by a phone.
While a member of staff was showing him the device, he snatched it and ran out of the door.
The shop's co-owner Grant Hinton, 28, said there is currently no update as of yet but that Police were investigating finger prints left on the packet the phone was in.
At the time he said: "He ran out of the door and I chased him all the way to Sainsbury’s but he managed to get away.
"The police were great and were already at the shop when I returned.
"It is a wake-up call for us and how we show people phones when they come in."
