THE Wicked Witch of the West, Cruella De Ville and a host of other children's book characters were brought to life at a village school.
Children at Broadwas Primary School dressed up as their favourite characters to celebrate National Children's Book Week.
School administrator Sue Bladen said: "It was a really lovely day and all the children looked brilliant. It was a great way to get the children interested in reading."
