A MAN who urinated on a police car has been fined for being drunk and disorderly.
Carl Faulkner, aged 23, of Ombersley Road, Worcester, had been spotted by police officers in the early hours of Sunday in College Street.
Faulkner admitted the charge of being drunk and disorderly when he appeared before Worcester magistrates yesterday.
Gemma Goode, prosecuting, said officers were on mobile patrol at about 1.50am when they spotted Faulkner urinating against a wall near the Cathedral Plaza car park. When officers got closer to shield the public from it, Faulkner turned and Miss Goode said he inadvertently "urinated onto the front bumper of the police vehicle.
"A police officer said Faulkner was very unstable on his feet and smelled of alcohol".
Miss Goode added Faulkner used foul language towards the officer.
Barry Newton, defending, said he wanted to make it clear that Faulkner, a builder's labourer, had not intentionally urinated on the car.
Worcester magistrates fined Faulkner a total of £175.
