TWO children were taken to hospital after a crash involving a parked car outside a city school.
Henwick Road was completely closed from the level crossing on Sunday (February 17) after a car crashed into a parked car near St Clement’s Church of England Primary School.
Ambulances, police and fire crews all attended the scene following the crash at about midday.
It appears the parked car shunted forward into another, with an eyewitness describing seeing three damaged cars.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance said: “We were called by police just before midday to reports of a car which had collided with a parked car.
“Two ambulances attended and it looks as though we conveyed two patients to Worcestershire Royal [Hospital].
“Both were children that we took to hospital.”
She said ambulance crews left the scene just before 1pm.
The witness wrote on Facebook about watching one of the cars being taken away by a recovery vehicle.
