A MAN was taken to hospital after a crash in which a car flipped and ended up on its roof in Warndon.
The man was injured after the two car crash that happened at around 6pm on Wednesday evening in Mill Wood Drive near the junction with Vetch Field Avenue.
Police are understood to have closed a section of the road for around two hours, between the roundabout and the junction for Tesco Warndon, while the man was treated by paramedics and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, and the vehicles were recovered and the crash scene cleared up.
On Thursday there appeared to be markings in the road at the scene where the crash is understood to have taken place.
One resident of Vetch Field Avenue said: "I was at home and heard a loud bang and I thought it was something to do with Tesco, but I realised it was at the end of the road.
"There was a man lying in the road, and the emergency services arrived - at least two ambulances and police cars under blue lights.
"People drive too fast down Mill Wood Drive and in this road."
Becky Thomasson, writing on Spotted Worcester's Facebook group, said: "We saw it just after.
"Police were there diverting traffic. There looked like it was a couple of cars involved."
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said they were not called out to the crash as no one was trapped in any of the vehicles, and their cutting equipment wasn't needed.
