MUSIC of black origin is set to be played at Priors Croft in Malvern every Thursday night.
Starting this month, various DJs - including Worcester's DJ Emily, Ad Lib, Leo Caithness, Ms Information and Demus - will be playing their favourite funk, hip-hop, R&B, old- time jazz, blues and breakbeat records at Grange Road venue.
The new event, called Urbanite, is being organised by The Umbrella Factory's Nick Herbert, who said: "This is a chance to be able to hear DJs playing the music that they love to listen to.
"We're trying to create a really groovy place to go, so that people can come and enjoy being with like-minded people."
Entry is free and DJs start at 9pm.
