COMPARISONS to Mick Hagger, Steve Miller and Bill Withers don't come along every day.
But they are something American rock singer Jake Stigers, who comes to Worcester's Marr's Bar with his band the Velvet Roots next week, is getting used to.
Stigers is back on UK soil to promote two new independent releases; Live And Loud in the UK, an album featuring the best live tracks recorded during his October 2006 UK tour, and I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got, an album of acoustic versions.
Stigers plays the Marr's Bar on Thursday, October 11.
