MONEY and jewellery were stolen in a spate of burglaries that happened in a single day in Worcester.
Six homes were broken into in two areas across the city on Friday, January 11.
Four homes in Northwick and Bevere were targeted including two homes in Bevere Close, which were broken into between 1.45pm and 6.30pm.
Access to both properties was gained by causing damage to windows at the back of the homes. Money and jewellery were taken during the burglaries.
Another two houses were burgled in the Northwick area, in Northwick Road, between 1pm and 6pm.
Jewellery was stolen from one home but nothing was taken from the other property.

On the same day, an intruder broke the glass of a back door to break-in at a home in Laslett Street, off Rainbow Hill.
The break-in happened between the hours of 8.10am and 6.30pm. Nothing was taken from the home on that occasion.
