STUDENTS from Worcester Sixth Form College raised £180 for Action Aid in a sponsored leg shave on Child Poverty Day.
Seventy students and staff took part in the day and Paul Sullivan, a teacher at the Spetchley Road-based college, decided to go a step further by shaving his head and collecting £1 from each of his students.
Mr Sullivan said: "I thought it was too easy to have my legs shaved so I decided to have my hair cut to a number one instead. It was a lot longer before, so I think all the students find my new look quite amusing"
