A NEW classroom block could be developed at a Worcester school if planners give it the go ahead.
Blessed Edward Oldcorne College in Timberdine Avenue has applied for planning permission to build a two-storey block, containing three classrooms, a counselling room and two teaching offices.
It would be sited next to the existing sports hall and the application is an amendment to a previous application, which was approved in January 2006.
In a design statement to Worcester City Council, the school's architects said: "The building is well screened and will not add any further massing to the existing skyline."
The city council will make a decision on the application at a future date.
