POLICE investigating a robbery at a man's home in the city in which he was threatened with a screwdriver say they are currently pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.
Officers investigating the robbery have issued a renewed appeal for information over the incident in which five robbers raided the house in London Road, Worcester, at around 6.30pm last Saturday night.
The robbers, described as white males who were all wearing black, and gloves and balaclavas during the raid, searched the property after threatening the man.
The victim was not injured.
No arrests have been made as the police continue to investigate. Officers say one of the new lines of enquiry is that a van was seen in the area close to the property at the time of the offence, appealing for anyone who saw the van,
Detective Sergeant Samantha Bache said: "This was a frightening experience for the victim and a number of enquiries are now ongoing to trace those responsible.
"If anyone witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area yesterday evening or is aware of jewellery being offered for sale in unusual circumstances, please get in touch.
"In the meantime our officers will continue to work in local communities where family gold is targeted and offer crime prevention advice to those who might fall victim to this type of crime."
Anyone with information can ring West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 665s of December 1.
