TWO 14-year-old boys have scooped a top accolade and a cash prize at a national competition. Robert Tipton and Joseph Perry, from the Royal Grammar School, Worcester, and Alice Ottley School (RGSAO), took part in the national final of the Young Engineers competition held at the Old Naval College, Greenwich. They created a wood-working tool which won them the award for Best Carftsmanship and Engineering, in a competition which contained many A-level students. The boys each received a cheque for £200 and a £400 prize was also given to the Design & Technology department at RGSAO.
