CONSTRUCTION contractors are being warned to be wary of stolen equipment.
The caution comes after a £6,000 mini-digger, a £2,000 quad-bike and a £500 generator were taken from an address in Crabbe Lane, Wadborough, near Pershore, on Sunday.
The burglary occured just after 11.30pm and police fear the theives may not try to sell the items on.
"These items could well be offered for re-sale," said a police spokesman.
"We would strongly advise anyone who is offered items matching their descriptions not the buy, but to contact us at the earliest opportunity."
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Crabbe Lane area at the given time should call police on 08457 444 888, quoting 816S/300907. Information can also be given - anonymously - to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
