A TEENAGE girl who fractured her skull in Pershore has been named as Alina Sanger.
The incident, involving a car, occured on Tuesday night and left 15-year-old Alina, from Pershore, with serious head injuries.
She was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital for specialist care, where she remains in a stable condition.
Ambulance crews who attended the scene, at the top of Pershore park in Abbotts Road, were told that Alina had been on a car but was found in the road; the exact circumstances are not known.
A spokesman said: "She was at Worcester Royal Hospital within only half an hour of the initial call; a trauma team had been requested to be on standby for her arrival.
"At 9.50pm she left Worcester to be taken to the Children's Hospital. She had been anaesthetised and an anaesthetist travelled with the crew to Birmingham.
"She was described as being in a serious condition with a fractured skull."
* A 17-year-old male was arrested following the incident.
