THERE were more celebrations as University of Worcester graduated today.
Hundreds of students have been recognised for their fantastic achievements in ceremonies at Worcester Cathedral.
Today was the second day of ceremonies, with further ones set to take place tomorrow and on Friday. The achievements of more than 3,800 students are being celebrated throughout the week.
University Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive, Professor David Green, said: "Our graduates of 2018 join an illustrious community of over 100,000 Worcester graduates who have made and are making an immense contribution to British society.”
The University has also been awarding a number of Honorary Doctorates – given to individuals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen field - and Fellowships – awarded to notable individuals who will become ambassadors for the University - during the week.
See page 22 and 23 for a list of graduates and their special stories - including Bromsgrove mother-of-two Angela Sturgess who is on her way to becoming a fully qualified teacher.
Each day in the paper we have been publishing a list of each day's graduates, as well as more pictures from the ceremonies.
