A POLICE car was one of two vehicles involved in a crash in Kempsey.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the A38 in Kempsey at 6.47pm on Sunday.
One car damaged a road sign and ended up in a garden.
Fire fighters checked the vehicles were safe.
Police and the ambulance service also attended.
A spokesman from the fire service said no one was hurt and there were no reports of any serious injuries.
One eyewitness said: "The police were responding to a incident in the village when they collided with a car turning towards the church.
"Also police were still in attendance with blue lights till around 9.35pm.
"The police car was a Ford Eco Sport which had minor front end damage."
A driver who saw the aftermath said: "It looks as though the other car misjudged the corner and went into the fence of someone's front garden taking a road sign with it.
"There were loads of police and an ambulance and fire engine there."
