A TEENAGE girl has been left with head injuries following a road traffic accident in Pershore.
The incident happened in Abbey Road yesterday and involved a grey, Vauxhall Corsa.
A 17-year-old male has been arrested following the incident.
The girl was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with head injuries as a result of the accident. She was later transferred to Birmingham Children's Hospital for further treatment.
Officers are continuing to make enquiries into the cause of the accident.
A police spokeswoman added: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident."
