A WORCESTER school is celebrating after picking up a special award for geography.
Blessed Edward Oldcorne College is the only school in Worcestershire to receive the Secondary KS3 Geography Quality Mark award from the Geographical Association.
The award recognises that the college is working to raise the standard of geography teaching.
Headteacher Sean Devlin said: "It is recognition of the enthusiasm and inspiration shown by area leader Sue Rees, and the contribution that all the teachers in her department make."
