A sunny afternoon on September 12 greeted us after the break and the wet of June and July seemed a long time ago.
We were so lucky to fit in an outing on the Severn Valley Railway in June, exactly one week before it was closed due to floods, but the garden meeting in July was forced to be held in the hall.
Several members joined the Elgar Group for a happy day on September 6 visiting the black and white villages of Herefordshire, with Brian Draper.
The speaker on the 12th was Brenda Womham who gave a valuable and informative talk, demonstrating visual aids and on the help provided by the Worcestershire Association for the Blind, now at the Bradbury Centre, Sansome Place.
The next meeting will be on October 10 at 2.30pm in Broadheath Village Hall - with county crafts loan and museum items.
A warm welcome is always ensured to visitors and new members.
