THE first of a series of health fairs will be coming to Worcester tomorrow.
The Worcestershire Primary Care Trust has invited people to attend the event, between 10am and 3pm at the Guildhall in Worcester's High Street, and find out more about the organisation.
Dr Bryan Smith, chairman of the trust said: "We are looking forward to talking to local people about how we organise healthcare for the half a million population.
"We will be promoting a few new initiatives to improve patient care and asking for views on future priorities for healthcare.
"There will be over 25 displays ranging from how to give up smoking, how to find an NHS dentist, fighting infection in hospital, breastfeeding, sexual health, healthy eating and exercise, how to prevent falls and a lot more. There will also be a slipper exchange for the elderly to prevent falls in the home."
The event will include the trust's annual meeting whcih will take place at 10am, when the board will approve the Annual Report 2006-07.
