THE family of missing Matthew Bone believe he is still in Worcestershire.

Matthew, who is originally from Portsmouth and enjoys walking, is thought to have been in the Malvern Hills area on Thursday, March 8 and is believed to have spent time in the village of Callow End on Friday, March 9.

His family and friends now set to run the Great South Run this Sunday to raise awareness of Matthew’s disappearance and raise funds for the charity Missing People.

His mother Karen said: "Matthew went missing whilst staying at Stanbrook Abbey in Callow End, a long way from our home in Hampshire, and this has made our search even harder.

"We are therefore appealing to local people in Worcestershire and neighbouring counties to report any possible sightings to the police or Missing People."

As well as raising money by running the Great South Run, Matthew’s family have asked runners to wear a picture of Matthew on the day to raise awareness about his disappearance.

Matthew was 26 when he went missing in March this year. He is white, 5ft 7in and slim with brown hair and blue and grey eyes.
