FOUR people had to be assessed for injuries and a petrol garage wall was damaged following a three car crash on Bromwich Road, Worcester.
Emergency services were called to the scene, at the BP garage near the roundabout where Malvern Road and Bromwich Road meet, just after 2.30pm today (Wednesday, October 17).
A section of Bromwich Road was closed by West Mercia Police for less than an hour and BP staff helped officers with directing traffic.
Cars were diverted from Malvern Gate back up Bromwich Road whilst a vehicle recovery truck worked to remove the damaged cars.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene.
A spokesman said: "Four people were discharged at the scene - no one required hospital treatment."
The crash caused congestion and long delays for drivers, especially parents who were collecting children from nearby schools.
