AN 89-year-old cricket fan has been handed a trophy in recognition of his dedication for the county's club.
Joe Leach, captain for Worcester County Cricket Club, presented the award to recognise 80 years of support from Robert Humphries, also known as Bob.
Bob went to his first match when he was nine years old with his father in 1938 at New Road.
He said: "I became a life member a long time ago and have been to every match since then.
"It cost me about £50."
Bob had a barber shop in Droitwich from 1953 before moving to Queen Street, Worcester, in 1960, where he worked for 37 years.
