THREE people have been injured in a crash involving two vehicles.
Three ambulances were sent to the A4103, in Leigh Sinton, after a car hit a 4x4 towing a trailer.
Two drivers, one in his 20s and one in his 40s, and a passenger, also in her 40s, were hurt in the crash.
It happened at around 10.20am today (July 31), with the car ending up on the grass verge next to the road.
The younger driver suffered a minor hand injury and refused to go to hospital, however the other two were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with back pain.
The hospitalised driver was immobilised with a neck collar and a spinal board.
Firefighters from Malvern released two people who were trapped at the scene, after receiving a report about the crash at 10.54am.
An eye witness saw two police cars on the road as he drove past towards Worcester.
He described the front of the orange 4x4 involved in the crash as “pretty mashed up”.
He added that the driver was still inside the car, which he believed was an estate, and was on the grass verge next to the road.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service left the incident at 11.57am.
