A TENT town for the homeless has been cleared by police.
Around 10 officers, led by Sergeant Carl Jones, alongside three Maggs outreach and transition staff, descended on the camp this morning.
There were reports of trouble on the camp, with some said to be carrying weapons.
Sitting across the river from Diglis House Hotel, the small community consisted of around half a dozen homeless people, living in tents.
The dispersal order was executed by police at around 7am, with those moved on warned they will be arrested if they return within 48 hours.
