A TURKEY ornament mimicking Donald Trump was stolen from outside a house in North Piddle.

The turkey was taken at some point between Saturday June 2 and Thursday June 7.

Andy Reeves, the owner of the turkey, said: "Police have been informed and, any information that may lead to the recovery of the fibreglass ornament, please quote report number 112S080618. This is a unique creation that is obviously of a particular taste.

"The owner suspects that there could be the potential of a ransom demand. Because it is stolen and unique it will be of little resale value."
